Amalie Harrison

Amalie is a student at the University of Virginia who enjoys exploring both traditional research and innovative technologies within her course of study. She is an undergraduate student pursuing her bachelors in biomedical engineering and she has a special interest in both the healthcare industry and the research and development process for medtech. She is currently working in a lab exploring the effect of mechanical forces on endothelial cells in the context of a genetically linked medical condition affecting blood vessels within the brain. In her free time, Amalie enjoys long distance running, reading fiction, and finding new recipes to try with her roommates.
