Birsen Beril Bildirici

Beril is a cheerful and sociable individual who loves listening to people's stories. She is currently an undergraduate student at Sabancı University in Turkey, majoring in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Bioengineering. Beril aspires to develop impactful projects using technology to improve people's lives. She is working as a research assistant on a project exploring alternative methods for drug delivery across the brain blood barrier (BBB). Her goal is to use her biological knowledge to work on projects that have a wide-reaching impact on society. In her spare time, she supervises the Civic Involvement Projects (CIP) unit at her school, where she leads weekly discussion sessions on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and social issues with freshmen. Outside of her academic and volunteer activities, Beril enjoys photography and playing the piano.
