Kimberly Blacutt

Design
Kimberly Blacutt is a designer with years of professional experience in the realms of interaction design, design research, and landscape architecture, a field in which she is a registered professional. She is the current recipient of the Hambrose fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University which supports her Masters in Design for Interactions. At CMU Kimberly is especially interested in exploring design questions at the intersection of two societal trends: our daily immersion in digital experiences contrasted with a lack of time spent outdoors. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and is bilingual in English and Spanish, having spent most of her childhood in La Paz, Bolivia. Outside of work, Kimberly loves reading stories by Calvino and Borges; running as a means of exploring; and conversations that last long into the night.
