Leslie Cano Ochoa Huerta

Leslie is an undergraduate student at California State University, Los Angeles, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alongside academic pursuits, she holds the position of Vice President at Golden Eagle Makers, a club focused on utilizing engineering expertise and maker skills to assist the community. Leslie is dedicated to promoting the TOM ideology through Golden Eagle Makers, striving to find innovative solutions to real-world challenges. She works in a machine shop located at her school where she develops her manufacturing skills. Additionally, she volunteers as a judge and t-shirt designer for the SoCal FIRST Tech Challenge, actively supporting and encouraging aspiring engineers. Outside of her studies and engineering engagements, Leslie finds joy in exploring her hobbies, including art, music, and aquarium maintenance.
