Nathaniel Wallace

Biomedical Engineering
Nathaniel is pursuing Biomedical Engineering with minors in Psychology and Mental Health & Well-Being. Born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD), he was fitted with his first above-knee prosthesis at just 13 months old. This lived experience as an amputee sparked his passion for prosthetics and assistive technology, ultimately guiding his path into biomedical engineering. Nathan is currently involved in research at Georgia Tech's EPIC Lab, where he contributes to the Powered Prosthesis team by both collecting and analyzing data. Beyond the lab, he brings his creativity to DramaTech, the student-run theater, where he builds props and performs on stage.
