Biomedical Engineering

Saanvi is a biomedical engineering student with a strong interest in prosthetics and medical device design. She enjoys using CAD and 3D printing to create practical, low-cost solutions. As the 3D printing lead for the e-NABLE team at UVA, she applies these skills to help build upper limb prosthetics. She also conducts research in a tissue engineering lab focused on developing scaffolds for wound healing. As a TOM Fellow, Saanvi looks forward to expanding the organization's impact at UVA and continuing to design inclusive technologies that address real-world needs. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and trying new food!
