Zoe Lalji

Zoe Lalji is a Senior at UT Austin studying Neuroscience with a minor in Entrepreneurship on a PreMed track. Her passion for Neuroscience began when her father was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2017 and since she has been constantly searching for ways to improve his quality of life and his expand his avenues of connection with the world around him. As part of this work, she is working to make Virtual Reality accessible to ALS patients and other highly disabled populations as a way to provide them with autonomy in the form of novel experiences and immersive activities that they are unable to engage in physically.
