Alina Duisenova

Alina is a third-year student pursuing a Special Education degree at The Education University of Hong Kong. She is also minoring in Social Studies and Public Policy & Management. Alina holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nazarbayev University and has a proven track record of volunteering and participating in several TOM: Makeathon events in Astana. Alina is presently working on bringing together the TOM Community in Hong Kong. Driven by her passion for creating an intersectional, inclusive, and equity-driven society, Alina seeks to combine her two competencies in low to high-tech assistive technology solutions. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Alina enjoys reading books, learning aerial arts, and participating in various fandom activities.
