Chemical Engineering
Eliza Hill is a junior at Vanderbilt University studying chemical engineering. She was born in Madrid, Spain, and then moved to Colorado when she was ten years old. Eliza loves playing tennis, hiking, and flying planes. For the past two years, she has been involved with TOM: Vanderbilt and has participated in five different projects. Through TOM, Eliza has been able to develop her engineering skills while making a difference in the lives of others. She was recently selected as one of the Grand Prize winners in the 2023 Global Innovation Challenge for creating an independent feeding device for a boy with a rare autoimmune disorder and feeding tube. TOM has been a highlight of Eliza’s college experience, and she is incredibly excited to lead the Vanderbilt Make-a-thon and connect with the global TOM community!
